ತಿರುವನಂತಪುರ, ಸೆ. 16: ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾಂಡ ಪಂಡಿತರು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಖಾತೆಯ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಸಚಿವ ಶಶಿ ತರೂರ್‌ ಅವರು ಕಳೆದ ವಾರ ವಿವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಕ್ಷವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ಮುಜುಗುರಕ್ಕೀಡುಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇಡೀ ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ಅಂತಃಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದ ಶಕಪುರುಷ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಡುಕ. ಆತ ಸಾರಾಯಿ ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಂಸ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು 'ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ' ಸಚಿವ ತರೂರ್‌ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅದೆಲ್ಲಿಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸವನ್ನು ಇವರು ಕೆದಕಿದರೋ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾರು ಬಂದು ಇವರ ಕನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಅಗ್ಗದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರೋ ಅಂತೂ ಶಶಿ ಸಾಹೇಬರು, ಇಂದಿಗೂ ಯುವಜನತೆಯಿಂದ ಆರಾಧಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮೇಲಿನಂತೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅದೂ ಇವರು ಹೇಳಿರುವ ಸಮಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭವೂ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಶಿಕಾಗೊ ಭಾಷಣದ 150ನೇ ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಜರಗಿದ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಹಮೀದ್‌ ಅನ್ಸಾರಿ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲೇ ತರೂರ್‌ ಈ ಎಡವಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆ ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಸಮಾರಂಭಕ್ಕೆ ತರೂರ್‌ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು.

'ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮಿಶನ್‌ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕನಿಗೆ ಶರಾಬು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಂಸ ತಿನ್ನುವ ಖಯಾಲಿಯಿತ್ತು. ಒಂದು ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ' ಎಂದು ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತರೂರ್‌ ನೀಡಿದ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರನ್ನು ಅವಮಾನಿಸಿರುವ ತರೂರು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಿಡಿಕಾರಿರುವ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ, ತರೂರ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂದೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮೆ ಕೇಳದಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವುದಾಗಿ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಸಿದೆ.

ಕೇರಳ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿ. ಮುರಳೀಧರನ್‌ ಅವರೂ ಈ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. 'ವಿವೇಕಾನಂದರು ಸಾರಾಯಿ ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾಂಸ ತಿನ್ನುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ತರೂರ್‌ ಹೇಳಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ. ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅವರು ಕೋಟ್ಯಂತರ ಜನರ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ' ಎಂದು ಮುರಳೀಧರನ್‌ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
