‘ಗಂಧದಗುಡಿ’ ಅಂದರೆ ಯಾರ್ರೀ ಅವರು?

ಮಾನ್ಯರೇ,

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ವಿಮಾನನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ‘ಗಂಧದ ಗುಡಿ’ ಹೆಸರಿಗಿಂತ ಸುಂದರ, ಸೂಕ್ತವಾದ ಹೆಸರು ಬೇರಾವುದಿದೆ?

ಆದರೆ, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನಿಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆ ಜಾತಿಯ, ಪಕ್ಷದ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂತುಷ್ಟಿಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಪರಿಪಾಠ ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಂದಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ‘‘ಗಂಧದ ಗುಡಿ’’ ಹೆಸರು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗುವುದು ಕಷ್ಟವಿದೆ. ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗೆ ಕೆಂಪೇಗೌಡನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನಿಟ್ಟರೆ ಒಂದು ಜಾತಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಹೆಸರು ಇನ್ನಾವುದೋ ಜಾತಿಗೆ ಮೀಸಲು. ಸೋನಿಯಾಗಾಂಧಿ ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರಂತೂ ಅವರ ಅಪಾರ ಹಿಂಬಾಲಕರನ್ನು ತೃಪ್ತಿಪಡಿಸಿದಂತಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಯಾವ ಜಾತಿ,ಧರ್ಮ,ಪಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇರದ ಈ ಗಂಧದ ಗುಡಿ ಯಾರ್ರೀ?

Dear Editor,

I fully agree with the article. We should name the airport in such a way that it reflects our history, culture and smell of the soil.
Action item: Please use this name (Gandhadagudi) in all the articles in thatskannada so that it becomes a habit. By using the same name many times it becomes a habit and even others will have to start using it. Let the poiliticians name it anything, but we shall use this name so that it creates a public opinion.

Mr. Kalyana Ramans opinion to name the new international airport in Bengaluru, Karnataka as Gandada Gudi Antharastriya Vimana Nildanaa is an excellent idea. This will make each & every Kannadiga living in Karnataka, outside Karnataka very proud.
