Dear Editor,

This is im writing after reading response of Mr.Vallesha shastry.

I really dont understand why these people relate our customs only negatively? such as relating untouchability for namaste, so my question here for him is, in muslims they dont touch at the time of greeing, so what can he relates for that?

namaste means namah = not mine, te = yours

That means notmine yours…such a huge meaning in it..also namaskar meansnamah = not mine, kar = attitude means not mine attitude

That means i have surrendered my bad selfishness in hindu customs, ego and selfishness are treated as menace for mankind, so namaste makes us to remember nothing is mine here.

Even in many mantras such as narayanaya namah, shivaya namah ...means narayanaya = narayans na = not mah = mine means this is narayanas not mine.

So Valleesha shastry sir, please dont keep on feeding only negative content about our culture and tradition, ofcourse we had did many blunders that doesnt mean we should give up every thing and blindly accept english culture as the best.
