ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್‌ ಮಾಮನಿಗೆ ತುಂಬಾತುಂಬಾ ಥ್ಯಾಂಕ್ಸು!

ಹಗಲಿರಲಿ, ಇರುಳಿರಲಿ, ಚಳಿಯಿರಲಿ, ಬಿಸಿಲಿರಲಿ, ಮಳೆಯಿರಲಿ, ಗುಡುಗಿರಲಿ, ಯಾವುದರ ಪರಿವೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಸುಗಮ ಸಂಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕಂಕಣತೊಟ್ಟು ನಿಂತ ಕಾಯಕಯೋಗಿಗೆ ಜೈಜೈಜೈ

Dear Editor,

I am really proud of our Bangalore City Traffic Police. They do a job which most people cant even think of taking up. It is physically so taxing and mentally strenuous. I truly appreciate the way they conduct traffic even in the middle of such hazardously polluting conditions (I wish they are all duly compensated for their occupational hazard). They work on the hot sun for others only to hear comments and criticism.

It is not that we should not say anything when things go wrong or all the policemen are infallible people. They are human beings too and please understand that they are into this thankless job. I cant remember even one civilian honour being done to a traffic personnel! We must work towards that. Some of the companies should take up activities for their cause, for example provide them refreshments while they work in the hot summer... I wonder why nothing is being done for them from the citizens side!

My heart goes out to all the traffic police for the wonderful service they are doing to the society. Keep it up and we are all with you and will co-operate in having smooth and regulated traffic in Bangalore.
