ಹತ್ತು ವರ್ಷದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಮಳಯಾಳಂನ‘ಮಣಿಚಿತ್ರತಾಲ್‌’ವನ್ನು, ದ್ವಾರಕೀಶ್‌ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನಾಗಿ ಅನ್ಯ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಚಿತ್ರವನ್ನು ರಿಮೇಕ್‌ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸರಿಯೇ?

Good to read the article and about Dwarakish who appreciated the Kannadabhimana of Cauvery Kannadiga. Chandramukhi movie in tamil is socalled remake of the movie Apthamithra. Apthamithra movie is a super hit, All actors acted well and many more appreciations for the movie. Nice to read. I dont know how many of the movie goers watched a movie by name Mani Chithrathal? Apthamithra movie is remake of Mani Chithrathal movie.

This movie was released around 10 years back, Along with Mohanlal, Sureshgopi and Shobhana, some of the kannada actors and actresses also acted in that movie (Shreedhar, Vinaya Prasad etc) and the movie was superhit at that time in Kerala. The role played in Apthamithra by Dwarkish was played by Jagadi Sreekumar in Mani Chithrathal.

If you watch the kannada verion, it is frame to frame copy of Mani Chithrathal. Not only the core sequence of the movie but even the comedy sequence also.

Now the question is about Kannadabhimana. How can a person who remade the Malayalam movie in Kannada can appreciate kannadabhimana of other kannadigas?

Dwarkish does not have rights to comment or even apreciate kannadabhimana of any other kannadiga, especially while sharing success of a remake.
