ಹರಾಜಾದ ಕಾವೇರಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಹರಾಜು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ?

ಕನ್ನಡಿಗರೇ,

ಕಾವೇರಿ ಹರಾಜಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಎಲ್ಲೋ ಒಂದು ಕಡೆ ಸೋತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸೋತ ಬಡ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಧರಣಿ ಮುಷ್ಕರದಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಸೋಲಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣಕರ್ತರಾದ ಇಂದಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ಹಾಲಿ ರಾಜಕಾರಿಣಿಗಳು ಬಡ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನ ಷೊಷಣೆಗೆ ಸತತ ಸಿದ್ಧ್ದರಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀರಾವರಿ ಖಾತೆಯನ್ನಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮರೆತು, ಅಧಿಕಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ರುಚಿಯುಂಡ ಘಟಾನುಘಟಿಗಳೇ ಈ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣರು. ಇವರು ಹಚ್ಚಿದ ಬೆಂಕಿಗೆ, ತಮಿಳರು ತುಪ್ಪ ಸುರಿದರೆ, ಬಡ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಚರ್ಮ ಸುಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

ಕಾವೇರಿ ತೀರ್ಪು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನ ಶೊಷಣೆಯನ್ನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಾವೇರಿ ಒಂದೇ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಎಲ್ಲ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ದುರ್ಬಲನಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಪರ ಭಾಷೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಮೋಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನೇ, ಕನ್ನಡವನ್ನ ಕೊಲ್ಲುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗರಿಗೆ ನಿರುತ್ಸಾಹ, ಕಾವೇರಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾದರೂ, ಕ್ರಿಷ್ಣೆಯ, ಭೀಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾದರೂ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಮೈಸೂರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಇಂದು ಆಲಮಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರಿದೆ, 25 ವರ್ಷ ಕಳೆದರೂ, ಕಾಲುವೆಗಳಿಲ್ಲ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ರೈತ ಪೂನ, ಗೋವಾ, ಮುಂಬೈನಲ್ಲಿ, ಕೂಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕ, ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮಾರಾಟವಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎತ್ತ ಹೊರಟಿದೆ ಕರುನಾಡು, ಏನಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ?

ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಹೃದಯ ವೈಶಾಲ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವನು ಅನ್ನುವುದು ಆತನ ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕೆ, ಜಾತೀಯತೆಗೆ, ಕಾಲೆಳೆಯುವ ಬುದ್ದಿಗೆ, ಒಗ್ಗಟಿಲ್ಲದಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖವಾಡ ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ಭಾರತ ಮಾತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲೀನವಾಗಲು ಹೊರಟಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ, ನಾಡಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ, ನಾಡಿನ ಭಾಷೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಒಂದಾಗದಿದ್ದರೆ, ನಾಡನ್ನೇ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವೇ ಹರಾಜಾಗಲಿದೆ, ಹರಿದು ಹಂಚಿ ಹೋಗಲಿದೆ, ಕನ್ನಡ ನಾಡಿನ ರಾಜಕಾರಿಣಿಗಳೇ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನುಡಿಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಅಕ್ಕ ಪಕ್ಕದವರು ತುಪ್ಪ ಸುರಿಯಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ತಡೆಯ ಬೇಕಿದ್ದರೆ, ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ, ಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ರಾಜಕಾರಿಣೆಗಳ ಬಲಿ ಹಾಕಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಪ್ರತಿ ಕ್ಷಣವೂ ನಾಡನ್ನ ಮೀರ್‌ ಸಾಧಿಕ್‌ ತರಹದವರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಅನ್ಯರಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡವೇ ಈತನ ಜಾತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ, ಕನ್ನಡವೇ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ, ತನ್ಮೂಲಕ ನಾಡನ್ನ ಪ್ರಬಲಗೊಳಿಸಿ ತನ್ನ ಅಸ್ಥಿತ್ವವನ್ನ ಕಾಯ್ದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಇದು ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಬ್ಬ ಕನ್ನಡಿಗನ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯವಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಕನ್ನಡಿಗ ಎಚ್ಚೆತ್ತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವನೇ? ಹಾಗೆಂದು ಆಶಿಸುವ...

Dear Editor,

This relates to the news item about our CM meeting PM. It appears from your publication that PM is more worried about IT sector than the other prime interest of Kannadigas. I feel Mr.Kumaraswamy, should have given more appropriate response such a gesture of PM.

CM has stated that he has ensured all facilities to IT Sectors and nothing to worry. Why should we any more support IT sector in Bangalore. None of them have any curtesy about the sentiments of Kannadigas. They want all the facilities from Karnataka but the when it comes to providing jobs it is surely for non-kannadigas. They have not right to establish their business in Karnataka if they dont owe anything to Karnataka. CM, Please issue a rule and strictly enforce that atleast 75% Kannadigas should be there in all Private Sectors/Public Sector companies which are located in Karnataka. Can you just see in any State the locals are neglected like in Karnataka? Why should you (CM) protect Software Companies anymore. Throw them out of Bangalore/Karnataka. Let the peaceful lifestyle comeback to Bangalore.

I agree with you. Take example of Krishna River. From Telagu Ganaga Chennai is going to get water. What about Gulbarga? They cannot get their Water, Two months back when they opened Telagu Ganga Our Chief Minister was on the stage. No One bothered to talk about Water problems in North Karnataka. We have lost the libido of the movements

I agree with my friend Vallisha shastry. I am showing kannada films in NJ for the last 1Í years and kannada kootas can do better in terms of sending their members to the theaters. I also request producers to release DVDs of kannada movies in the american market. i have talked to few producers about this without any reaction or success. probably we have to watch films like CYANIDE in its tamil or Hindi versions

Mr. Sannappanavar has done an excellent job in bringing this news which was widely watched in usa and dispised off the people involved in it. i was also surprised to see so many people from india or indian origin are caught. What is disgracing is same people were caught doing this twice. mr. sannapanavar has been doing a great service in bringing this article to light of educated kannada reading youngsters. I hope they learn from this and destroy their life before it even started blooming. i hope this article is published in many more lanuages so that people in other region also be informed of this incident.

I had discussed a lot about improving kannada movies market in USA.Its good to know that Valisha has written what exactly happens in America I am not asking you to blindly support kannada movies. Out of 9Í-1ÍÍ movies released per year, only 4-5 Kannada movies gets released and all of them have got good reviews.

In any other Lanaguages(Tamil, Telugu, Hindi) also, only 5-6 Movies are HIT Movies. Lets try to support all the kannada movies that are screened in USA. If we dont support the kannada Movies, Eventually the Movies will not be released in America and we all are responsible for it.

Please do support Kannada Movies abroad to spread kannada and its culture.
