ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಪದವಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡಬಯಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಾವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಉತ್ತಮ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ತಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸುವುದು ತುಸು ಕಷ್ಟ.

ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಇತಿಹಾಸ, ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ಸಂದರ್ಶನ, ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕ ವೃಂದ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಒಂದು ಹಂತದ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಏಳಿಗೆ, ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಶ್ರೇಯಾಂಕ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಲವು ಮ್ಯಾಗಜೀನ್ ಗಳು, ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳು ಕೂಡಾ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಭಾರತದ ಟಾಪ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ತಯಾರಿಸಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

2012ರ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಟಾಪ್ 10 ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದ ವಿಶ್ವಮಾನ್ಯ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಐಐಎಸ್ಸಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್ ಐಟಿಕೆ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. [ಭಾರತದ ಟಾಪ್ 10 ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪಟ್ಟಿ]

ಅಣ್ಣಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಚೆನ್ನೈ

ಚೆನ್ನೈನ ಅಣ್ಣಾ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 4, 1978ರಂದು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ವಾಮ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸಮಕಾಲೀನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಮಾಜಮುಖಿ ಪಠ್ಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳತ್ತ ಕೂಡಾ ವಿಶ್ವ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ನಡುವೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅಣ್ಣಾ ವಿವಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಭಾರತದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದ ಅಣ್ಣಾ ವಿವಿ ತನ್ನ ತೆಕ್ಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿಯಾಗಿರುವ 426 ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು, 6 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ 3 ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳನ್ನು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

The International Institute of Information Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H) is an autonomous university founded in 1998. It was set up as a not-for-profit public private partnership (NPPP) and is the first IIIT to be set up (under this model) in India. The Government of Andhra Pradesh lent support to the institute by grant of land and buildings.
