1) Why do you surf for kannada on the web?

I started surfing ever since Kannada news papers started appearing on the web. Now, it has become a habit. It is always nice to be able to read Kannada whether in print or on the screen. It feels good to read about all the developments in Karnataka and be in touch with the issues related to literature and politics of the Kannada brotheren. (Especially, sitting ten thousand miles away!)

2) Why do you make it a point to visit kannada.oneindia.com?

Kannadainfo.com has shrunk the distance between Bangalore/India and USA to a few inches (distance between me and my computer screen!). There are a number of interesting titles to choose from. It is all in a concise version so that I can spend a few minutes every night and get the essense of all the important developments.

I was also happy to share my poetry with all the surfers (hope, at least a few of them might have read and enjoyed!). Hope this medium will keep all the Kannadigas tied together and provide a forum for sharing their thoughts.
