‘ಶೇಷ’ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಓದುಗರ ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆ !

ಮಾನ್ಯರೆ,

ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿಯವರು ಬರೆದಿರುವಂಥ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ಓದಿ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಗಾಬರಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದಂತು ನಿಜ. ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದೆಲ್ಲ ಪೂರ್ತಿ ನಿಜವೆಂದು ನಂಬುವಂಥ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಬರುವ ಕೆಲವನ್ನಾದರೂ ನಿಜ ಎಂದು ನಂಬಬಹುದು ಎಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆ. ವಿಷಯ ಯಾವುದೇ ಇರಲಿ, ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವುದನ್ನು ಓದಿ ನಂಬುವಂತಹ ನನ್ನಂತಹವರಿಗೆ, ಈ ಪತ್ರ ಒಂದು ಚಾಟಿಯೇಟಿನಂತೆ. ಸಂಪಾದಕರ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಇಂತಹ ದೋಷಪೂರಿತ (ಪದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಿರಲಿ) ಲೇಖನಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿವುದು ತಪ್ಪಲ್ಲವೇ. ಆದರೆ ಶೇಷಾದ್ರಿಯವರ ಪತ್ರದಿಂದ ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ನನ್ನಂತಹ ಹಲವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿದ್ದಂತೂ ಖಂಡಿತ. ಇಂತಹ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುವ ದಟ್ಸ್‌ ಕನ್ನಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಡ ನನ್ನ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.

Hi,

One thing I need to say is that, though Monica Lewinsky did not cry in the interview, she had tears in her eyes when she was giving interview! Im sorry I dont remember in which channel/interview I saw that but Im sure I remember it right as I saw that very recently! Anyway, except for this, other things which Mr. Bhat has written are a little difficult to believe (and I dont think there is any proof for that also!).

Thanks for your credible article. Your factual writing is excellent; hope it gives an opportunity to many writers/readers to comment on it.

I personally like the way you depicted facts versus what was reported/written. It is dangerous, not only the writer/organization loses their significance but also the journalism as such loses its ground. I have heard people saying so what? for several reports/breaking news.

Your article also challenges writers to do their homework before their article becomes a representative of their mind.

After I read the write up on "maadhyama mathu vishvaasaarhathe" by sheshaadri , I felt relieved that atleast there are people who can see through journalists talk and language.

I think that this profession has stooped so low that it beats criminal acts in all sections of illegality. Yuck!
