ಇನ್ಫಿಗೆ ಹೋಲಿಸಿದರೆ ವಿಪ್ರೊನೆ ಮೇಲು
ಇಂಥ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಳೆಲ್ಲ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಮೂರ್ತಿ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬೀಳುವುದಿಲ್ಲವಾ?
It was the time when I had passed out as fresher and I had all the criteria to enter infy. After my hard efforts also I could not get into infy. But later I understood the political games inside the company. Today I thank god not being a part of such a stupid company, which does not respect the local language and culture.
Though my company is purely a US based company we have holiday for all kannadigas festivals. Infosys heads does not do any thing what they preach. Suds Murphy and Narayan murthy were my role models. But I dont have any respect towards them. I have seen few people who entered infy as their spouses were working there, even though they were not all fit for any thing. Infy need not feel proud about their interview standards etc. Only criteria is you should belong to the community of the HR and people who conducts interview over there.
Narayan murthy being a kannadiga should feel the pain of kannadigas due to some stupid people in his company and should take proper action. Sudha murthy instead of doing social services in some other states can do several good jobs in north karnataka districts like bijapur, gulburga, bellary. In their position if I were there I would have done this. Instead of going to some corner of some state for campus interview they can go to each and every college in karnataka with the team of employees of local land. Otherwise one can predict these outsiders may play a game there also.
If both are having little bit of feeling about kannada and karnataka they can do several things like employing kannadiga labors, kannadiga drivers, kannadiga talents. This is how their building constructors sobha is working and growing. Otherwise whatever they preach is utter waste and no kannadiga should respect them they can move their so called great company infy entirely to some other state. Majority of kannadiga IT talents are not dependent upon infy. Compared to infy Wipro is far better though premji is not pure kannadiga.
I have great respect to Infosys and its chief mentor. However, there are some stupid employees who are sitting on top of helm are making these issues.
Better infosys change their recruiting pattern and employ more kannadigas. If talents are not available in Kannadigas, then they can go for external candidates.
I think it is a wakeup call for all kannadigas in Karnataka and especially in Bangalore to unite else, we may loose not only our lands to folks from other states but also our self esteem.
If you are a kannadiga, ensure that you are selling your land only to Kannadigas and not others. Also, while renting out your houses, pl. ensure that you give special rebate to Kannadigas. There are several other ways to demonstrate unity. It is the high time we must take a leaf out from Tamilians.

There is a way to protest this attitude of Infosys. All the Kannadiga employees should take a leave on that day. Another option is to wear pancheseere on that day to the office.

It is not the question of kannadigas leaving the company if we dont like the holiday policy, it is about infosys respecting the local culture and traditions for getting land at cheap price and doing business here. After all this, I dont know how they can ask for cheap land to for their employees housing. Let infosys not get any more cheap land to be distributed to tams, mallus gults and north Indians. if they want land, let them buy at market prices. Before all that, let them learn to respect kannada and kannadigas in the first place. otherwise, then can leave the city and go. Bangalore became abrand because of its strengths not because of IT alone
