ಹೊಸ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ರೂಲ್ಸ್ ಜಾರಿ: ಯಾವ ತಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ದಂಡ?

ನವದೆಹಲಿ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 01: ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮೊತ್ತದ ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸುವುದು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿಗಳಿದ್ದ ಮೋಟಾರು ವಾಹನ ಮಸೂದೆ 2019 ಲೋಕಸಭೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರವಾಗಿದೆ. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಪತಿ ಅಂಕಿತ ಬಿದ್ದ ಬಳಿಕ ಕಾನೂನು ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಟ್ರಾಫಿಕ್ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಕೈ ಸೇರಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮೋಟಾರು ವಾಹನ ಕಾಯ್ದೆ 1988ಕ್ಕೆ ತಿದ್ದುಪಡಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. 2017ರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದನ್ನು ಮಂಡನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಂಗೀಕಾರಗೊಳ್ಳದ ಕಾರಣ 16ನೇ ಲೋಕಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಸೂದೆಗೆ ಸೋಲುಂಟಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಸಂಚಾರ ನಿಯಮ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಗೆ ದುಪ್ಪಟ್ಟು ದಂಡವನ್ನು ವಿಧಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಮಸೂದೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮಸೂದೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಜನರ ವಿರೋಧವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆ ಇದೆ. ಡಿಎಲ್ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ವಾಹನ ಓಡಿಸಿದರೆ ವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ದಂಡವನ್ನು 500 ರಿಂದ 5000ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ರಹಿತ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದ ದಂಡ 200 ರೂ. ನಿಂದ 500ಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ತ್ರಿಬಲ್ ರೈಡಿಂಗ್ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದ 100 ರೂ. ದಂಡವನ್ನು 2 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಡಿಎಲ್ ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸಲ್ ಮಾಡುವ ಅವಕಾಶವೂ ಇದೆ. ವಿಮೆ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ವಾಹನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸಿದರೆ 1000 ರೂ. ಇದ್ದ ದಂಡದ ಮೊತ್ತ 2 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಏರಿಕೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಸೀಟ್ ಬೆಲ್ಟ್ ಹಾಕಿಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ 1000 ರೂ. ದಂಡ ವಿಧಿಸುವ ಅವಕಾಶವಿದೆ.
