ಮಸ್ತುಮಸ್ತು ಹಾಡಿಗೆ ಮಸ್ತುಮಸ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ!

ರೇಖ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಅವರೆ,

ನೀವು ‘ಮಸ್ತು ಮಸ್ತು ಹಾಡುಗಳು’ ಲೇಖನ ಸಖತ್ತಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಓದಿ ಬಹಳ ಖುಷಿ ಆಯಿತು. ಇಂತಹ ಚಂದವಾದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನೀವು ಲೇಖನವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಚಾತುರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಕೆಲ ಕಡೇ ಒಳ್ಳೆ ಸಸ್ಪೆನ್ಸ್‌ ಬೇರೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಓದುತ್ತ ನನಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಮರುಕಳಿಸಿದವು. ‘ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸಾರ’ದ ನಮ್ಮ ವರ್ಶನ್‌ ಈ ರೀತಿ ಇತ್ತು!

ನೀವು ಬರಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಹಾಡುಗಳಷ್ಟೆ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿಂದಿ ಗೀತೆಗಳ ಅಣಕವಾಡುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದೀರಿ. ಓದುತ್ತ ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ನೆನಪಾಯಿತು.

ನಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಯ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಅಖಿಯ ಮಿಲಾಕೆ ಪಿಯಾ ಘರ್‌ ಆಕೆ (?)’ ಹಾಡು ಈ ಅವತಾರ ತಳೆಯುತ್ತಿತು ‘ಅಕ್ಕಿಯ ಮಿಲ್‌ಗ್‌ ಹಾಕೆ ಅಕ್ಕಿ ತೌಡು ಬೇಕೆ’. ಆದರೆ ರಫಿಯ ‘ನನ್ನೆ ಮುನ್ನೆ ಬಚ್ಚೆ ತೇರೆ ಮುಟ್ಠೀ ಮೆ ಕ್ಯಾ ಹೈ’ - ಈ ಹಾಡಿನ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಬೇಡವೆಂದು ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ನಾನೂ ಸುಮ್ಮನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಸುಂದರ ಲೇಖನಗಳು ನಿಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬರುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶುಭ ಕೋರುತ್ತ..

ನೀವು ಬರೆದ ‘ಮಸ್ತ್ಮಸ್ತು ಹಾಡುಗಳು...’ ಲೇಖನ ಸಕ್ಕತ್‌ ಲವಲವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ಬರಹವಾಗಿದೆ. ತುಂಬಾ ಖುಷಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು. ಈ ತರಹ ‘ತಿರುಚಿದ’ ಪದ್ಯಗಳು, ಅವುಗಳ english translations, singing backwards (ಹರವೀ ರೂನು ರೂನು ಹರತ... ಹರವಿ ಮಪ್ರೇ ದವ್ಯಕಾ ಹಿಕ ರಹಬ...) ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಸರಕು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲೂ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟಿತ್ತು.

ಅಂತ ಹಾಡ್ತಿದ್ದೆವು.

(ಪೆರ್ಗುಡೆ = ಹೆಗ್ಗಣ, ಮಾಟೆ = ಬಿಲ, ಎಡಪಾಡಿ = ಸ್ಥಳದ ಹೆಸರು, ಕೊಡಪಾನ ಒಟ್ಟೆ = ತೂತು ಆಗಿರುವ ದೊಡ್ಡ ತಂಬಿಗೆ)

ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಯ ಲೇಖನ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರಿ.

I read your article in thatskannada.com and it is too good. I enjoyed reading it. Please keep writing such good articles.

It reminded me of some songs which you have mentioned in your article which we used to sing in our childhood and even some songs created by me

and my friends. Some of them are:

1) "janarinda naanu mele bande...." was made "beerinda naanu mele bande beer anne nanna devarende"

2) "naaniruvadu nimagaagi naadiruvadu namagaagi..." was made "baariruvadu nimagagi beeriruvadu namagaagi whisky beke brandy beke kudiyiri neevu haayagi...".

3) "baanina anchinda bande..." was made "baarina anchinda bande..."

Though I dont remember all of them I have mentioned some of them.

That was a great article. When we were kids, my cousin & I would mix kannada songs with english and sing it in the same tune. One of them was from eraDu kanasu, it went like this:

tamnam, tamnam, nannee minDu miDiyutide
Haa lostide.... hanDalli jumpuva ee goldu bangalla
ghal ghal ghal ghal beaTige
my heartina veene tannante taane tamnam tamnam endide
Nee waakuvaa roDige, flowerinaa beDDanu spreaDDuve, hand hiDiduu waakuve....

We had plenty more, but I dont remember all of them. Anyway, thanks for bringing back fond memories.

Very nice article. Brought back the days of our childhood fun, picnic songs and antyakshari fights.

Here are few more: "Kachare ke dabbe me tujhko bithakar, oopar se plastic ka dhakkan lagaakar, rakhoonga gatar ke paaas, aayegi tujhe gandi baans (distortion of Shammi kapoors nice song, Dil ke jharoke me tujko bithaakar...)

Sou saal pehale Devanand jawaan thaa gadhe pe sawar thaa... aaj bhi hai aur kal bhi rahega (sorry Dev Anad fans..)

Songs, which I can not spell out are the distortion of Manavanaagi huttidmele enen kandi?... "Kande hariya kande" If you are creative enough, you can figure it out.
