ಪ್ರಿಯ ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಸಣ್ಣಪ್ಪನವರೆ,

ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಪ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು. (ವಿಪ್ರ=ವಿ-ದ್ಯುತ್‌ಪತ್ರ). ನನಗೂ ಕಳಿಸಿದ ವಿಪ್ರವನ್ನು (ವಿಪ್ರ=ವಿಧ್ಯುತ್‌ಪತ್ರ) ನೋಡಿ ನನ್ನ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ಅಳಿಸದೆ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್‌ ಮಿತ್ರವೃಂದದಾಖಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವಮಾನದಲ್ಲೇ ಅಸಮಾನವಾದ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಅನುಪಮ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ನೆರವೇರಿಕೆಯ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನರಿತು ನನಗೆ ಅಮಿತ ಆನಂದವಾಯಿತು. ಆದಕ್ಕೆ ಮರುಗೌರವದಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಅಭಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವುದರಲ್ಲೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.

ತತ್ಪರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀರ್ಘಮಜ್ಞನಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಲೇಖನ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಓದುವಾಗ ನನ್ನ ಮನಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಿದ್ದು ನಮ್ಮ ನಾಡಿನ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವವನ್ನು ಅನುಭವಿಸಿ ನಲಿದಾಡಿದಂತೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಭಾವನೆಯಾಯಿತು.

ಮರುಗಳಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವೆಚ್ಚರವಾದಾಗ ನಿರಾಶೆಯ ಅರಿವಾಯಿತು - ನಾನಿರುವುದು ಪರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅಜ್ಞಾತವಾಸದಂತೆ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹಬ್ಬಹರಿದಿನಗಳ, ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳ, ಜನಜೀವ-ನದ -ವಿಚಾರ ಕತೆಗಳ ಸಂಪ-ರ್ಕವಿಲ್ಲದ ಬರಡು ಬಾಳಿನ ಬೇಸರಿಕೆಯ ಬೇಗುದಿಯಂತೆ. -ಜರ್ಮನಿ, ಯೂರೋಪ್‌, ಅಮೇರಿಕ ದೇಶಗಳು ಎಷ್ಟೇ ಪ್ರಗತಿಪಟ್ಟ ಸರ್ವಾನುಕೂಲಗಳ ಸಂಗತ ಸಾಪೇಕ್ಷ ಸಲಿಲ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ, ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ನೆನಪುಗಳು ಈ ನನ್ನ ಇಳಿದ ವಯಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಹಾಯ್ದುಬಂದು ಮನೆಗೀಳಿನ ಖಿನ್ನತೆ ಮತ್ತೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿರಲು ಬಯಸುವ ಹಂಬಲ ಎಚ್ಚರವಾಗಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ದುಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನ ಕಾಡಿತು.

ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೀರ್ಘ ವಿಷಯಸಂಪತ್ತಿನಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದ ವಿವರಣಾ ನಿರೂಪಣೆಯ ವರ್ಣನೆಗಳ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಮನವಪಹರಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಚಿತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಸಾಕ್ಷಾತ್‌ ನಾನೇ ಸ್ವತಹ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಸಹಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದವನಂತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಮನದುಲ್ಲಾಸ ನನ್ನ ಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾಕ್ರಾಂತಿ ಮಾಡಿತು.

ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತೊಮ್ಮೆ ನನ್ನ ಮೈತ್ರೇಯ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳು.
