ಅಂಕಣಕಾರರಿಗೆ ಐಡೆಂಟಿಟಿ ಕ್ರೈಸಿಸ್ ಸ್ಥಿತ್ಯಂತರ

A story-writer, if he is also a columnist, should write about anything but a short story in his column......Agreed to agree! :-) ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿ I do not know whether I have locus standi to talk about this subject, yet i respect my right to express with all humility. ಅಂಕಣಕಾರ ತನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗಾದರೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿರುತ್ತೆ. ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಬಹುಪಾಲು ಅಂಕಣಗಳು "ನಾನು" ಆವೃತ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರ್ಜಾಲ ಅನುವಾದ. ಹೌದು ಇವೆರಡನ್ನೂ ಒಪ್ಪಬಹುದಿತ್ತು, ಬರಹಗಾರ ಒಂದು ತಾರ್ಕಿಕ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರೆ ಮಾತ್ರ. ದಾಖಲೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಹುಮ್ಮಸ್ಸೋ, ಅಭಿಮಾನಿ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯೋ ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ, ಈಗಿನ ಅಂಕಣಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಅಲ್ಪ ನಿಲುಕಿಗೆ ಪೊಳ್ಳು. ಬಹುಶಃ ಬರಹಗಾರರು identity crises ಸ್ಥಿತ್ಯಂತರದಲ್ಲಿರಬಹುದು.

ಉಷಾಗೆ ಅಂಜಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ : ನಿಜ, ನಾನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮಂತೆ ಅಂತ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಾಗ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಗೊಡವೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ Rocking chairನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತ ಅಜ್ಜಿಯಾಗ್ಬಿಡ್ತೀನಾ ಅಂತ ಅನುಮಾನ ಬಂತು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಟೇಟಸ್ ಹಾಕ್ಬಿಟ್ಟೆ! :-) :-)

ಶೃಂಗೇಶ್ ಆರ್ : ಕೆಲವರು ಬರೆಯುವ ಚಪಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೆಲವಾರು ದುಡ್ಡಿಗಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕೆಲವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅನಿಸಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತ್ವವಾಗಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವರು. ಕೆಲವರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಮಾಜದ ಆಗುಹೋಗುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ, ಅದರಿಂದ ಏನಾದರೂ ಕಿಂಚಿತ್ ಉಪಯೊಗವಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂಬ ಆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಬರೆಯುವರು.

ಅಂಜಲಿಗೆ ಅಶೋಕ್ ಉತ್ತರ : ನನಗೆ ಹಾಗನ್ನಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಯತಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ಒಂದು ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗೆ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವದು ಸುಲಭದ ಕೆಲಸವಲ್ಲ. ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ವ್ಯವಹಾರವಾಗುವಾಗ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಚಕಾರ ಅಂತ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಗೆಳೆಯ Ravi Belagere ನನಗೆ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಾಗೆ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತನ್ನ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಗೆ ಒಂದು ಅಂಕಣ ಬರೀ ಅಂದ. ನಾನು ಬರೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನೀಗ ಅದನ್ನು ವಾಪಸ್ ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ನಾನು ಕೊಡೋದಕ್ಕೆ ರೆಡಿ:) But I assume the editor should politely ask a writer to cease to be the columnist of the paper that he is editing or ideally the writer himself should realise he has outlived his life as a columnist for a paper and should tell the editor to excuse him. But it doesn't happen in kannada journalism. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ತೊಂದರೆ.
