ನಿತ್ಯ ಸುಮಂಗಲಿಯರತ್ತ ಓದುಗರ ಕುಡಿನೋಟ

ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಯಾವ ಮೂಲೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು 'ರಾತ್ರಿರಾಣಿ'ಯ (ಸು)ಗಂಧ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇದೆ. ಇವರನ್ನರಸಿ ಬರುವ ದುಂಬಿಗಳು ಇರುವತನಕ ಮನುಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿದ ಈ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಮಾನ್ಯರೇ,

ಪ್ರಸಾದ್‌, ಸುಕುಮಾರ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ನಟೇಶ್‌ ಅವರು 'ನಿತ್ಯ ಸುಮಂಗಲಿ'ಯರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬರೆದ ಕವನಗಳು ಮನ ಮುಟ್ಟುವಂತಿದೆ. ನಿತ್ಯ ಸುಮಂಗಲಿಯರ ಮನದ ದ್ವಂದ್ವ, ತುಮುಲಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಟೇಶ್‌ ಅವರು ಬಹಳ ಸೊಗಸಾದ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಇದು ಮನುಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಪ. ಮೈ ಮಾರುವ ನೌಕರರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾವು ಗಂಭೀರವಾಗಿ ಯೋಚಿಸಬೇಕು. ಗೇಣು ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ-ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಾಗಿ ಎಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಕಸರತ್ತು. ಈ ಮೈ ಮಾರುವ ನೌಕರಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಪ್ರೇರಿತರಾಗಿ ಯಾವ ಹೆಣ್ಣೂ ಹೋಗಲು ಇಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ತಳ್ಳುವವರು ಅಣ್ಣ, ಅಪ್ಪ, ಪ್ರಿಯತಮ ಅದೇಕೆ ಪತಿಯೂ ಆಗಬಹುದಲ್ಲವೇ? ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಪಾಡು, ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರಿಗೆ ಶೋಕಿಯ ಪಾಡು. ದಿಢೀರ್‌ ಹಣ ಗಳಿಸುವ ಸುಲಭೋಪಾಯ.

ಈ ಕವನಗಳ ಓದುವಾಗ, ಮೊನ್ನೆ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್‌ ಜಿಯಾಗ್ರಫಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡ 'ನಾರಿkು ಕ್ರೌರ್ಯ' ದ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಚಿತ್ರ ಕಣ್ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂತು. ಹನ್ನೆರಡು/ಹದಿಮೂರರ ಪೋರಿ. ಅವಳ ಕಣ್ಣು ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕೃತವಾಗಿತ್ತು ನಾರಿkು ಸೈನಿಕ ಹಿಡಿದಿದ್ದ ಬ್ರೆಡ್ಡಿನ ತುಣುಕಿನತ್ತ. ಬ್ರೆಡ್‌ ಹಿಡಿದಾತನ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಕೈ ಆ ಮಗುವಿನ ನಗ್ನ ಶರೀರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಹರಿದಾಡುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಆ ಚಿತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರೀರ್ವರ ಕಣ್‌ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲಿ ಕಂಡದ್ದು 'ಆತನಿಗೆ ಕಾಮ ತೃಷೆ, ಆ ಮಗುವಿಗೆ ಉದರದ ಚಿಂತೆ'. ಇನ್ನೇನು ಮಾಡಿಯಾಳು ಆ ಮಗು.

ಇನ್ನು 'ನಿತ್ಯ ಸುಮಂಗಲಿಯರ' ನೈಜ ಚಿತ್ರಣ ಕಂಡದ್ದು ಥೈಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಕ್ಯಾಂಬೋಡಿಯಾದ ನಾಮ್‌ಪೆನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ. 'ಕಾಮಾತುರಾಣಾಂ ನ ಲಜ್ಜ, ನ ಭಯಂ' ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದರ್ಶನ. ಯಾವುದೇ ಹೊತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀದಿ, ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ತಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿತ್ಯ ಸುಮಂಗಲಿಯರ ಜೊತೆ ನಲಿಯುವ ಎಲ್ಲವೂ ಬಿಚ್ಚಿ ಮುಕ್ತ ಪ್ರಣಯ ಕೇಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗ್ನರಾಗಿರುವ ನಿತ್ಯಸುಮಂಗಲಿಯರ ಅನಿತ್ಯ ಪತಿಗಳ ಕಾಣಬಹುದು. ಉದರ ಪೋಷಣೆಯ ಸುಲಭ ಮಾರ್ಗವಿದು.

ಬೇಕೆಂದರೂ, ಬೇಡವೆಂದರೂ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಯಾವ ಮೂಲೆಗೆ ಹೋದರು 'ರಾತ್ರಿರಾಣಿ'ಯ (ಸು)ಗಂಧ ಎಲ್ಲೆಡೆ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇದೆ. ಇವರನ್ನರಸಿ ಬರುವ ದುಂಬಿಗಳು ಇರುವತನಕ ಮನುಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಡಿದ ಈ ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಕ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.

Read your poem on the hapless women who make a living by following worlds oldest profession. Its a good poem. The last three lines are superbly meaningful.

Hi,

It is so bad that prostitution is not legalized in India. I would suggest this to be one of the great reform in Indian society both in morals and particularly health also. At least the govt medical agencies can have a regular check up on all these women or men. Right now it is unchecked and even clean men/women are in danger. All preachers of this virtue sneak up on women, have fun, and come back and say prostitution is bad. These are the hypocrites or I should say cowards .Our culture has forcefully made our Indian minds distorted by treating sex bad. God bless Gays and Lesbians born in India..!!!!

I am so surprised and shocked by men who make adverse comments. If my stomach is full (wife) why I should bother about hunger (hooker) ?. I dont personally support prostitution because it is the second hand living. If some body wants to do it, it is their problem. Most of the stomachs are not full and that is why there is so much talk about hunger (prostitution).......believe it or not, that is the truth. Dont say bad things about others, it shows your weakness. Have fun, thanks.
