Initially we wrote to Presidents of both sides of AKKA, requesting inputs for the survey. Here you read some inputs from Amarnath Gowda camp as on 14 May, 03. We want to thank Amarnath Gowda for clarifying the issues (in his recent email) especially the fact that "The bylaw committee has voted to include all the Kannada Kutas in the Board of AKKA and the amendment will be sent to the general membership for their ratification shortly".

We are fully in support of the original AKKA and do not support any break up of it.

Thanks for all the hard work people have put in.

We support the present AKKA under the presidency of Mr.Amarnath Gowda.Michigan Pampa Kannada Koota being the first kannada koota,we do not accept the unautherized elections that has taken place by some AKKA members.

1.How many AKKA are you plannig for future?

2.Are you promising the members of new AKKA that you are not committing any errors.What if you commit an error there will be third AKKA?

3.The purpose of AKKA is to bring all Kannadigas of U.S.A and the other part of world together or to turn them away from each other?
4.I thought wisdom and intelligence are given to us to solve the problem and unite the Kannadigas, am i wrong?
5.Karnataka is the most hospitable state.Do you want us to forget our true nature?Please think.
Heartfelt comments: When AKKA was started there was a joy in the air for all kannadigas.AKKA is our baby,if it does not grow according to our wish are we going to adopt a new baby?With this attitude will the new baby have faith in its parents(new board).Think.At the time of crisis everyone should think like a mother.Mother has constructive critisisum for each member of the family to straighten them up but she never lets any one be away from the

The Kannada Sangha of Arizona,s Board of directors have voted to stay with the original AKKA organisation which was formed in AZ.We do not support the new group who are trying to branch off claiming to be the current AKKA office bearers as we did not support this move even from day 1.

We hope this whole thing could be resolved with the original group willing to incorporate all the Presidents and or it,s designate as they can follw it through due process.

With only 9 members approving the election out of all the states in the US is questionable in it,s authencity

I just had a conversation with our KKNC president Mr.Suresh Babu regarding the unauthorized elections that has taken place by some AKKA memebers.Being one of the directors of the AKKA and the representative of the biggest kannada koota in Northern California (KKNC), I hearby would like to say that we dont support the new elections that has taken place. We would like to stay with the originally formed AKKA.

We believe in Unity of AKKA and therefore our KKNCs 100 percent support is for the genuine AKKA that is running under the presidency of Mr.Amarnath Gowda.

I am really sorry to see flurry of emails regarding AKKA elections conducted by fake AKKA group. There is only one AKKA in USA that was formed during Arizona Sammelana and currently conducting 2004 Florida conference under the able and strong leadership of Dr. Renka Ramappa and Dr. Ramappa. In fact we (NEKK) were the first kannada koota to become the charter member of AKKA. As one of the respected and oldest Kannada Koota in north America, we (NEKK) respect only the legitimate organizations. We fully support and stay with AKKA we formed during Arizona sammelana currently headed by Mr.. Amaranath Gowda. I request all Kannada Kootas should consider this and go with a legitimate and reliable AKKA organization i.e the AKKA formed during Arizona Sammelana. As you all know the by-law committee chairman Dr. Keshava Babu is working hard to accommodate every kannada koota in AKKA. As I am speaking to you through this email, the by-law met yesterday in Chicago to discuss and pass the resolution to amend the constitution. Some individuals are forming their own groups and trying to divide the current AKKA. Such secondary organizations mushroom in many cases and they eventually die. To build strong AKKA and unite all kannadigas I personally request all Kannada Kootas and kannadigas to join hands with AKKA and lets put together another wonderful and memorable AKKA conference in Orlando Florida in 2004.

Dear AKKA Friends:

as for as I am concerned there is only one AKKA. I have stated many a times that changes cannot come externally. It is good to be inclusive of other peoples views even if they are in the minority. Since you strongly feel you need the endorsment, I am with the AKKA with whom I worked for two years as vice-president and initiated the changes that are vital to the growth of AKKA.

I appreciate the confidence and support that many of you have shown throughout my service in AKKA.

I will be leaving for Karnataka, India in a couple of hours and returning in first week of July.

If I can be of any help in unifying Kannadigas under one organization please let me know.

We are in complete agreement with the majority of kannada associations about AKKA continuing under Mr.Amarnath gowda. This is the time to be more united and cohesive and not the time to be splitting in to several factions.We do not support the new group . The Ramappas have taken a task to make Florida Conference an unprecedented one and their enthusiasm is unmeasurable. This is the right time to focus and work togther to make that a huge success as opposed to confuse and split the kannadigas. We hope to be a major part living in the south to make the 2004 conf a great sucess.
