ಅವರ ಅಳಲು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೇಳಿಸಿತಾ ?

Indians in USA are perceived by many, as smart, cream of the crop, reasonable and hardworking people. A few egotistical characters with chip on their shoulder looking for self-glorification and who are mean-spirited, are exceptions. They are causing a black mark on the reputation of majority of Indians. They have been disruptive and destructive to many Indian organizations here. For example, The Overseas Friends of BJP in USA had big feuding factions who wanted Mr. Vajpayee to mediate their conflict when he visited USA recently, to the disgust of the Prime minister. Another example, Board of Trustees of a Temple in east coast went to court making the Americans here wonder what is wrong with these Indians.

Unfortunately, AKKA, a very young organization is one of the recent victims of this kind of viscous attack, by some disgruntled members who should know better. They seem to be determined to single handedly discredit and destroy the organization in the guise of saving it. Ironically, the press, including this portal, unwittingly participating in giving notoriety to these toothless, paper tigers. If AKKA falls the press certainly should take some responsibility, along with these individuals.
