ಮೇ. 17ರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್‌ ಹುಲಿಕಲ್‌ ಕನ್ನಡ ಛಂದಸ್ಸಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಅವರ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ಪರಿಚಯ ನಿಮಗಿರಲಿ. Sri. Vishvanath Hulikal obtained his B.Sc. Degree from Mysore University, B.E. from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and M.Tech from Indian Institute of Technology, Karagapur. He is a Software Engineer by profession. He has presented a Technical Paper in an International Symposium. He and his wife Annapoorna have published two books: "Sourabha" and "Manthana". Several of his short stories and translations have been published in Kasturi, AmeriKannada, Nothern California Kannada Koota annual magazines, Houston and Detroit Vishva Kannada Sammelana Smarana Sanchike, etc. He has also served in the Executive Committee of KKNC in the year 2000. Serving in the capacity of Chief Editor, he has published a literary Magazine called ViShu in the same year. He is one of the authors to have written the story for the popular and award winning film called "America, America!". He is one of the founders of Sahithya Goshti and arranging monthly literary lectures in Kannada in the San Francisco Bay Area. He is presently serving as the Chief Editor to bring out the translated edition of Sri Jayant Kaikinis short story collection - "Amruthaballi Kashaya".
